Art in the Park

I was doing an open air art event the other weekend on a cold, dull day. I determined to get something out of the day, which was set in a local park and painted the scene directly outside my tent. I sold one card for a pound, which went towards a hot cup of tea to warm my hands. The girl in the foreground was watching a friend draw a portrait of her sister (visit www.bingjones.co.uk) Realising I had painted her, she asked quite openly whether the painting would now go in a museum...I wish !
