Dwight D Eisenhower

Dwight D Eisenhower...that is the name of the engine I painted yesterday in the York railway museum. The cleaners were out with long brooms, keeping the polish up to standard on this noble Loco. I counted the wheels and I got them all in,...now where did I leave my anorak ?

The Cut away Engine

I had a day painting in the York Railway Museum this week. The dramatic view of the cut away engine caught my attention. One can see the whole of the workings of a steam train....fascinating. Size 24"X18", price £450.00

Art in the Park

I was doing an open air art event the other weekend on a cold, dull day. I determined to get something out of the day, which was set in a local park and painted the scene directly outside my tent. I sold one card for a pound, which went towards a hot cup of tea to warm my hands. The girl in the foreground was watching a friend draw a portrait of her sister (visit www.bingjones.co.uk) Realising I had painted her, she asked quite openly whether the painting would now go in a museum...I wish !
